Abstract: A regional BLEG soil sampling program was undertaken consisting of 4 lines at 400m spacing in the north of the Southern group of blocks. Lines were oriented E-W. 151 samples were collected. Strong gold and base metal anomaly was outlined along the Mount Bundey Anticline, with a peak response of 84ppb Au. The anomaly trends NNW and is open along strike. This program was followed up by MMI sampling at 25 x 200m spacing. 382 samples were collected. This work outlined a 800m x 100m NNW trending anomaly open to the north. A 800m x 200m base metal anomaly was outlined to the west of the gold anomaly with peak values of 5800ppb Zn, 1800ppb Cu and 580ppb Ni. A further base metal anomaly was also outlined. 7 RC holes totalling 498m were completed to test the gold anomaly Narrow, low grade, gold mineralisation hosted by the Koolpin Formation. The peak assay was 1m at 0.69g-t Au.
