Abstract: The first year of exploration was aimed at assessing the uranium potential; this was done as part of a project wide airborne mag-rad survey with a follow-up ground anomaly check. Two diamond core holes were drilled in 2008 to follow up reports of gold being identified by DME geologists in drill core related to the gas pipeline construction. As part of the intensive exploration carried out in the adjacent EL 22738, the Allia Granite and environs was extensively geochemically sampled and geologically mapped for uranium, gold and lesser base metal potential. Several years later following geological reconnaissance of the Fletchers Gully gold mine environs, a comprehensive data compilation was undertaken and some recommendations were made. Unfortunately, further exploration of the established targets was curtailed by a lack of funds. A combination of Crossland's joint venture partner announcing they could no longer guarantee financial support and the nation-wide situation involving investment in junior exploration companies had a severe impact on Crossland's ability to continue working at the level of previous years.
