| Abstract: | Mithril first applied for the ground with a view to explore for Nickel sulphide deposits whilst remaining open minded to opportunities provided by other commodities. During the reporting period MMG Ltd joint ventured into the EL with a focus on nickel sulphide exploration. Work completed during the period involved a field regional reconnaissance program with the aim of field validating anomalies identified in previous VTEM surveys. Part of the regional program covering EL 27662 involved checking 2 VTEM anomalies situated within the tenement - Targets 24 and 25. Due to access issues, only Target 24 could be field validated during this campaign. Field reconnaissance of Target 24 failed to provide a conclusive result. The anomaly was situated in garnet-bearing gneisses with only an amphibolite nearby as the likely source of the EM response. The nearby amphibolite was sampled (R184610) and analysed for whole rock and trace element analysis. |
