Abstract: | Tenement EL 29358 lies approximately 125km SE of Darwin, access is via the Stuart Highway and then station tracks. The geology of EL 29358 is dominated by the Margaret Granite of the Cullen Supersuite, minor occurrences of the Burrell Creek Formation of the Finniss River Group are known to outcrop in the south eastern corner of the tenement area. The work completed during the current reporting period has been limited to desktop studies and the collation of open file data. Primary believes that the metasediments of the Burrell Creek Formation have the potential to host economic gold mineralisation, enhanced by the proximity of the tenement to the Margaret Granite. The potential of this tenement others in the region requires further investigation. |
