Title: Partial relinquishment report for EL 8766 Barrow Creek Project from 10 October 2006 to 9 October 2014
Title Holder / Company: ABM Resources
Report id: CR2014-0885
Tenure: EL8766
Year: 2014
Author: Rohde, J
Abstract: Exploration included wide spaced systematic reconnaissance surface sampling (225 BLEG, 3 Rock chip), a helicopter borne gravity survey, reconnaissance RAB drilling along a track (10 holes for 195m), regolith mapping, an aeromagnetic survey and the interpretation of the data into a regional geology map and a second project wide reprocessing of comprehensive aeromagnetic data and its integration into a compilation of a basement geology map. The best surface sample gold assay returned was 0.00712 ppm Au from TB01804. The maximum drill hole sample gold assay value returned was 0.002ppm from NEWRRR0048 and 52. In 2014 the review of data over EL 8766, in particular the magnetic data, did not show any immediate drill targets and did not indicate any significant features warranting follow up work. In addition, the poor geochemical data led to a 30 percent reduction of the tenement area.
