Abstract

The area was applied for to test the potential for all minerals. The first year's work traverses indicated widespread quartz outcrop and sub-crop. Indications are that the mineralogy of the area is analogous with Compass Resources Browns Project. Geochemical soil sampling will form an essential part of future exploration work. A review of previous geophysical data may not give a true picture of the areas full potential due to the wide spacing of data collection, therefore more detailed geophysical survey work is required.
