Abstract: | In the previous year's exploration programme, the original plan to implement a small drilling programme on the 'Misses Mine' was postponed. There appears to be a general disinterest in doing small drilling programmes among the drilling fraternity so this part of the planned programme remains on hold. The continued assessment of the alluvial potential of the area has been continued. Past experience has shown that removal of economic alluvial material provides a clearer vision for future exploration in addition to an earlier cash flow. Continued attention was directed to the western corner of the EL which contained a portion of the Saddle Extended iron ore deposit. |
