EL 8550 Paqualin Project Area Annual exploration report to 19 April 1995

Abstract

Exploration work involved the collection of 75 soil samples and the drilling of 11 aircore drill holes totalling 39m. The soil values were generally low though increased toward the hinge of the Howley anticline. A number of anomalous values were obtained from the aircore drilling (max value 80ppb Au). Remote sensing and digital data were used to fully plan and evaluate regional geological and structural trends. The setting of each tenement with respect to regional structure and location within the contact metamorphic halo of the Cullen Batholith has also been determined using these data.
