| Abstract: | The areas have potential for both hard rock and alluvial gold mineralisation. The main exploration activities in the first year of tenure involved research and data compilation. All data were processed digitally using GIS. Open file records were the main sources of data. These activities have demonstrated that subsequent exploration for gold should be focused upon structural targets. The extensive surficial cover may also be representative in places for alluvial gold. |
