| Abstract: | 189 regional soil samples were collected to test areas previously unsampled. 29 samples returned values greater than 4ppb Au with a maximum assay of 33 ppb Au being obtained. Detailed work at the Kazi (formerly Quest 150) outlined 2 zones NE-SW trending anomalous areas. The main Kazi anomaly was tested by 37 RC drill holes totalling 2869m. This drilling revealed good continuity. The mineralisation being hosted in a series of en echelon quartz sulphide veins in a shear zone dipping 50-60 degrees west. The best intercept was 6m at 8.23 g-t Au. Soil sampling at Ithaca outlined two anomalous zones returning maximum values of 8380 ppb Au and 7970 ppm As. Soil sampling at Santorini outlined a 2000 x 1000m anomaly. RC drill testing returned a best intercept of 5m at 4.66 g-t Au. |
