Abstract: The Faded Lily and Alligator deposits represent a significant resource of potentially open pitable gold mineralisation. Work concentrated within the Alligator-Faded Lily area where infill drilling was commenced to provide reserves for the proposed pits. In total 13,309m of RC and HQ drilling was completed. Samples were taken for geochemical petrographic and metallurgical analysis. Drilling at Rising Tide indicated a strata bound gold deposit related to a shear zone within a calc-silicate formation. Inferred geological resources of 1.5 mt at 1.60g-t Au were estimated for two drill sections. The diamond drill holes were drilled to check the validity of assay results from earlier conventional RC percussion holes. A regional vacuum-RAB bedrock geochemical drill program was also conducted over the Brocks Creek south target area to follow up gold anomalies identified in previous soil sampling. Vacuum drilling outlined several anomalous gold values, which proved to be less significant by the RAB drilling that followed. In addition 30 check assays were done on samples from the Brocks Creek area. A preliminary archaeological-heritage survey defined 5 archaeological sites and 5 historic sites. It was recommended that these sites should be surveyed with artefacts collected for preservation. Resource assessment, a pre-feasibility study, environmental studies, a ground magnetic survey and groundwater assessment were also completed in the area.
