Abstract: In May 1994, the Lone Star JV participants agreed a review of exploration of the Lone Star tenements was necessary and this report summarises that review carried out by PosGold during 1994/95. The Lone Star tenements are subject to a Joint Venture Agreement between PosGold Limited (PosGold), and Homestake Gold of Australia Limited (Homestake). The review which included a detailed assessment of geological and geophysical data, concluded exploration of the tenements had been directed at the discovery of Tennant Creek style Au-Cu-Bi ironstone related mineralisation and has focused on drill testing the deep magnetic features of Mulga 1, Mulga 2 and Lone Star.
