| Abstract: | The Davies No 1 prospect is located in the Golden Dyke Dome approximately 500 m north of the Golden dyke open pit Au mine. Previous exploration by Geopeko identified a zone of gold mineralisation. As a result of this a RC drill programme was conducted to test both the strike continuity of the gold mineralisation at shallower depths and the reliability of previous results. Five of the seven RC drill holes drilled returned intersections greater than 0.93 g-t Au and as high as 2 m at 20.73 g-t Au in DV5 from 12 m. Drilling results constrain Au mineralisation to less than 160 m in strike length. |
