Abstract: | Exploration during the 1993-1994 year consisted of 45 RC holes for 4,141 meters, seven NQ diamond holes for 1,697 meters, including 610 meters of RC pre-collars, and 11 aircore holes for a total of 95 metres were drilled. Several resource calculations were made, with the manual polygonal model in 1994 reporting measured blocks at a 0.9 g-t Au lower cut, upper cut of 10 g-t Au of 987,686 tonnes at 1.92 g-t Au (uncut 987,686 at 2.05g-t). Resource estimates vary between types of models, but indicate a resource in the region of one million tonnes at or below two grams per tonne. A test pit was proposed for 1994, but may not be completed until 1995. |
