Abstract: | 4 RC holes were drilled to test an EM anomaly which had been previously outlined. All holes fell short of target due to poor ground conditions. Analysis of drill chips found no anomalous values. Other work completed included 17 costeans (2150m) to locate more ore. The best result was obtained from P33, (max 22m at 6.67g-t max). Gossanous material was located in this trench. Sampling this material returned a maximum value of 8m at 21.7g-t Au. 4 short diamond holes were designed to test the lateral extent of the gossan. Only one intersected mineralization. Open cut mining commenced shortly after the drill program was completed. 9294 wet tonnes of material were transported to Cosmo Howley (8030 dry tonnes). The read grade of this material was 11.2g-t Au. 79813g of gold was produced. |
