Abstract: | Tenements EL 26965 and EL 29999 formed part of the Company's Calvert Hills Project. The tenements surrendered were situated in the southern part of the Calvert area and covered lower Tawallah Group stratigraphy including the McDermott and Aquarium Formation. During the term of the titles a total of 431 soil laterite samples were collected on EL 26999 which were analysed for a multielement suite of elements. In addition, parts of both tenements were flown by radiometric and magnetic surveys as part of an 8000 line kilometre survey co funded with the NTGS. Due to financial issues with the company the data has not been processed. The results of the sol program returned no significant anomalies, and as neither geological formation underlying the tenure is seen as a host for breccia pipe hosted copper mineralisation the decision was made to surrender the tenements to focus on more prospective units within the project area. |
