| Abstract: | Interpretation of regional gravity data failed to highlight any anomalies. The licence area straddles an aeromagnetic ridge attributed to the presence of disseminated magnetite in the Warramunga Group. Reconnaissance located two previously unmapped ironstones, one corresponding to Geopeko's Explorer 194. Rock chip samples were collected from the ironstones. Results warranting follow up were obtained. A regional vacuum drill programme, consisting of 680 holes totalling 2177m was completed. Significant values were obtained (40ppb Au, 118ppm Cu and 72.6ppm Bi). These results warrant follow up. |
