Abstract: | Exploration activities during Year 1 consisted of literature review, interpretation of Aerodata multi-client geophysical survey, stream sediment sampling, rock chip sampling and reconnaissance mapping at 1:25000 scale. Results from the stream sediment sampling returned peak responses of 250ppb Au, 350ppm As, 358ppm Cu, 20ppm Pb and 58ppm Zn from a major stream draining the Cosmo Howley mine. Anomalous values from other drainages ranged up to 110 ppb Au. No significant rock chip assay results were received. Further evaluation of stream sediment anomalies, not originating from the Cosmo Howley Mine, is warranted. |
