Abstract: | Work within the Quest 29 leases consisted of 22 RC percussion holes totalling 1132m, 4 costeans totalling 401m and 535 soil samples. Anomalous gold, base metal and arsenic values were obtained. Values obtained include 2m at 440g-t Ag, 7.94 percent Pb and 1m at 4.1g-t Au. Explortaion in the Quest 42 leases (MLN310-311, 305-313 and 332) consisted of 48 rock and 16 stream sediment samples. The maximum gold value was 0.62g-t Au. The potential for these leases to host a significant economic deposit is regarded as low. Within the Quest 44 leases (MLN 327-331) 281 soil and 11 rock chip samples were collected. Anomalous gold and base metal values were obtained. The results suggest the possibility of fault and stratigraphically related mineralization. |
