Abstract: This report records the exploration completed during the twelve month period to 7th June, 1993 in AN 366 Emu Fault Zone. The 1992-1993 exploration programme included geochemical surveys, geological mapping and drilling. Similar to previous exploration of this area, the programme was aimed at potential coarse and fine grained lead-zinc and copper deposits. A total of 1034 soil samples were collected from the Cattle Creek grid. Anomalous copper and aresnic results were found associated with the Amelia Dolomite. Zinc anomalism was identified over the Reward-Teena Dolomite. Twenty rock samples were analysed. The Cattle Creek grid area was geologically mapped. A total of 8 reverse circulation drill holes and two diamond drill holes were completed to test the Amelia, Cattle Creek Lamont and Lamont East targets. Results of this drilling were poor. However, due to drilling difficulties, the Lamont copper anomaly has not been adequately trsted. Best results were 6m at 0.22 percent Zn and 0.41 percent Pb from 116m in percussion chips from drill hole Amelia 61DD.
