Abstract: | Work in this anniversary period consisted of logging and sampling diamond drill holes completed previously, infill soil sampling, ground magnetic survey, costeaning, redrilling, alluvial and metallurgical test work and rehabilitation. The diamond drilling geochemical results identified a zone of high grade mineralisation (5g-t Au) within a broad zone of low grade mineralisation (to 0.5g-t Au). Analysis of core suggests a stock work system of steeply dipping quartz veins dipping both east and west, that from ore shoots which are subhorizontal. Maximum intercept was 13g-t Au. The ground magnetic survey consisted of 35.5 line kms over the Western Arm Anticline. The survey identified several targets. An additional 338 soil samples were collected. The results of this survey show a dispersed anomaly over the black soil plains. RC percussion drilling defined a mineralised zone of some 800m strike open to the north, east and south at depth. Costean results suggest that mineralisation continues to the north and to the south. |
