Abstract: 11 RC percussion holes were completed as an extension to the 1990 programme. The current programme defined a 300 x 30m zone of mineralisation open to the north, south and east at depth. This zone consists of a low grade envelope 0.3-0.5g-t Au enclosing higher grade pods up to 7m which have grades to 24g-t Au. 6 costeans totalling 745m were completed to aid map and interpretation of mineralisation. Mineralisation is hosted in a bedded sequence of tuffaceous siltstone, mudstone, greywacke and shale which are folded and weakly mineralised. Mineralisation occurs on the western limb of a regional scale anticline with a fold axis striking approximately 350 degrees and plunging 12 degrees to the north. In addition to costeaning 4 diamond drill holes were completed. Using available data, a micromine 3d block model was calculated. This suggests the mineralised zone contains approximately 430 000t at 2.5g-t Au to 50m using a cut off grade of 1.25g-t Au. If the cut off grade was 1g-t a resource of 680 000t at 2.0g-t Au is calculated.
