Title: | EL 7366 Second annual report 1 March 1992 to 28 February 1993 |
Title Holder / Company: | Giants Reef Exploration |
Report id: | CR1993-0387 |
Tenure: | EL7366 |
Year: | 1993 |
Author: | Simpson, P |
Abstract: | During the second year of tenure, major exploration work consisted of the drilling of two diamond core holes at the Sundance gold mine, and the gridding and levelling of an extensive grid over the White Bomb base metals anomaly area in preparation a detailed gravity survey. Other activities included the compilation of all previous costean data from around the Sundance mine, to be used as the basis for further ore reserve delineation, and various rock sampling was carried out by other companies during the course of unconcluded farm-in negotiations. A sample of the Sundance ore was sent to Dominion Mining Limited for metallurgical testing, as part of discussions concerning the possible treating of Sundance ore at the Cosmo Howley mine. Results to date confirm that EL 7366 and the included minor tenements are highly prospective, both for gold and for base metals. |
