dc.description.abstractA programme of RC drilling was undertaken in Bashi Bazouk and Battery Shear during the period February to June 1992. Drilling intersected siltstones, greywacke and grits of the Kohinoor Grit unit. Gold assays intersected were generally spotty with assays ranging from 1.02-8.79 grams per tonne Au. Mineralisation consists of south-easterly dipping vein sets and westerly dipping faults. Old workings follow southerly plunging zones which appear to be the intersecting zone of the vein set with the faults.en_US
