Abstract: | Additional soil sampling was carried on EL 7120 to test the northern part of the licence for Au and base metal mineralisation. Regional mapping and geophysical interpretation identified the continuations of both the F17 and Western Arm anticlines into the tenement. Both structures are mineralised to the south and represent significant exploration targets. However the extensive soil and alluvial cover in the tenement hinders exploration. Reconnaissance soil sampling suggests that a low level Au and As anomaly is present over the Western Arm anticline and this may be related to bed-rock mineralisation beneath the alluvial and soil cover. |
