Abstract: | Gold mineralisation at Mount Shoobridge is hosted in a series of quartz vein stockwork zones contained hosted by Mount Bonnie Formation sediments, within the anticlinal Mount Shoobridge structure. These stockwork zones are discontinuous along a 2.2km strike zone bearing mineralisation. Unlike previous exploration companies, Dominion perceives the Mount Shoobridge property to have the potential to host small, low to moderate grade ore bodies which could be economically mined from shallow open pits and trucked to the Cosmo Mine operation. During the second year of tenure, Dominion has set about re-evaluating all previous exploration data (including drill hole logs costean and geochemical data) and developing an enhanced data base from which a drill programme can be planned for resource evaluation. work also included grid resurrection, detailed mapping and rock chip sampling. Details of the rock chip sampling are not included in this report. |
