Abstract

No exploration was undertaken subsequent to the withdrawal of Renison from the joint venture. All the information to hand was considered for determining the best approach, bearing in mind the negativeness of Renison as to the area's potential as a hard rock source of gold. Previous work had indicated some promise for alluvial gold in the Saunders Rush area, however raising the necessary finances in order to facilitate further exploration would be difficult, due to the downturn in the economy and gold prices.
