Evaluation drilling (diamond, RC and percussion) was carried out during 1990 and 1991, at the Battery Shear, Cox's and Henry George. Results have defined a zone of anomalous mineralisation with very poor grade continuity at Battery Shear, over a strike length of 200m. Mineralisation is related to a prominent easterly dipping shear zone oblique to the Enterprise syncline fold axis which it intersects. A geostatistical study has revealed only low average grades and very low recoverable proportions. Mineralisation however, is closed to the south and results do suggest that grade continuity may improve. At cox's the results defined a well structured resource. Mineralisation is related to an oblique shear zone and found predominantly within easterly dipping quartz veins formed at a high angle to the direction of shearing. A geostatistical study has provided estimates of recoverable tonnes and grade that are encouraging and will provide the basis for a full evaluation and feasibility study of the resource. No significant mineralisation was found at Henry George.en_US
