Abstract: | In conjunction with geological mapping, 162 rock chip samples were collected. 40 samples returned assays greater than 1 g-t Au with a maximum assay 13.3 g-t Au. These anomalous values were usually associated with white-grey to blue-grey recrystallised quartz veins or stockwork. A zone of quartz stockwork between 11200 and 11500N was tested by 41 RC percussion drill holes. Numerous narrow intersections were drilled with a best result of 5m at 9.68g-t Au. There appears to be no continuity in between sections. |
