Abstract: These licenses are adjacent to the G2 linear and other linears and on the junction of the Tomkinson Province to the east and the Wiso Basin to the west, with the Georgina Basin further east and covers magnetic and gravity anomalies within the license area. A literature review in conjunction with the existing geophysical and geological data has downgraded the potential of EL 28909 and EL 28911 for manganese mineralisation as neither licence covers the Namerninni Group and in particular the Shillinglaw Formation member of that group. A short site inspection was carried out confirming this conclusion. While the potential of EL 28909 and EL 28911 for manganese mineralisation appears limited, a number of targets exist which warrant further exploration; EL 28909: A prominent magnetic low with a rim of higher level magnetics protrudes into EL 28909 from the North. This feature appears to be related to the Georgina Basin and corresponds to a weak gravity low, but has no equivalent on the radiometrics or landsat images. This magnetic feature may not be related to mineralisation but does warrant investigation to find its source. EL 28911: This licence spans the boundary between the Tomkinson Province and the Wiso Basin. Like EL 28909 it falls to the east of the G2 lineament, believed to be a major influence on mineralisation at the Olymic Dam deposit in South Australia (H.Rutter, pers. comm.) and may influence mineralisation at other points along its length. The G2 lineament extends from near Port Pirie in S.A. Northward to West of Darwin. Ongoing Exploration of these licences is recommended
