Abstract: The results from geochemical surveys undertaken 1989-90 are very promising having outlined a number of areas with anomalous gold geochemistry. 4 highly anomalous areas have been identified within EL's 1271 , 1276 and 1277. They are Redbank North, Jim's Find, Redbank South and Tobruk. One highly anomalous area in EL 1254 is sourced in the Nanny Goat Creek Beds, The Crusade Prospect. Several other areas with anomalous geochemistry have been identified and many are spot highs. Soil-laterite sampling at Redbank Rise showed the anomaly to be comprised of two main parallel anomalous trends with possibly another parallel trend to the West. A ground magnetic survey over the area highlighted a possible shear trend and fault zone. The RAB drilling programme was inconclusive. No economic mineralisation was intersected. What mineralisation was intersected appears to dip steeply to the east. RC Percussion drilling results were encouraging with a best intercept of 23m at 6.39 g-t Au including 10m at 13.89 g-t Au from RRC17.
