Abstract: | At Bigrlyi vanadium mineralisation is associated with carnotite above the waterhole and montroseite beneath. Looking at the available data and using a cutoff of .5000 ppm V a conservative estimate for the prospect is 47 994 t at 6716ppm V. The deposits are narrow and dip steeply at 65 degrees. The majority of the vanadium is tied up with the montroseite. With the problems associated with metallurgy and the size and shape of the deposit, the uranium mine policy and the price of vanadium Bigrlyi is not an economic concern. |
