Abstract: | Three RC drill holes were drilled to test the depth extension of a zone of 10-80 cm wide ironstone stringers. All holes tested the target but terminated in the shear zone due to poor ground conditions. Geology in all holes comprised interbedded siltstone and wacke with variable textures. Assay results indicate that mineralisation is restricted to the zone of stringer ironstone. The narrowness, erratic grade and discontinuity of mineralisation along strike from the Aga Khan workings is not encouraging. There is little chance for economic mineralisation. |
