Title Holder / Company: Biddlecombe, RM
Report id: CR1990-0360
Tenure: EL6424
Year: 1990
Abstract: Follow up gravel sampling of an unresolved chromite anomaly delineated by CRA in 1984, which is located in the headwaters of Boomerang Creek has led to the discovery of a linear dyke-like feature which is considered to be source of chromites and mirco-diamonds. Regional gravel sampling within EL 6424 has identified another chromite anomaly also in a tributary of Boomerang Creek. A total of 86 follow-up and regional gravel samples and also soil and rock chip samples have been taken within the Exploration Licence during the reporting period. A programme of follow-up and loam sampling is planned for the coming year.
