Abstract: | The Eleanor and Elsinore prospects were mapped and diamond drilled. Drilling gave evidence for three quartz-sulphide vein mineralisation styles: At Eleanor, a zone of NNE striking, SE dipping ladder veins confined to the hanging walls of Eleanor and Jensen's Faults on the west limb of the Kohinoor Anticline. Limited sampling returned values to 13.9 grams per tonne Au. This zone remains open to the south and at depth; Unconformable quartz veining along a portion of Jensen's Fault; and at Elsinore bedding parallel and irregular veins/stockworks in the hinge zone of the Kohinoor Anticline. These do not extend to depth and are of no further interest. |
