Abstract: | Drilling of the northern vein system showed only narrow discontinuous zones of mineralisation in the top 40m. The 1987 results suggest that the width and grade may improve with depth. The drilling of the southern soil anomaly identified two new zones of mineralisation. The zones vary in width from 10 to 30m with grades of 3.6 grams per tonne to 1.5 grams per tonne. These mineralised zones are open to the north and south and with depth. Coarse gold is believed to be present. A preliminary resource estimate using a micromine 3D block suggests 149 700 t at 1.74 grams per tonne Au. |
