| Abstract: | A review of aeromagnetic data combined with geological mapping undertaken by the BMR indicate that favourable units of the Mount Charles Beds and ultramafic-mafic units occur within the EL. The ground magnetic survey over areas 21B and 25 SW had a spiky response due to irregular concentration of variably magnetic laterite. This obscured the regional magnetic response. Future work will be dependent on the results obtained from the stream sediment-lag geochemical surveys. |
