Abstract: | Work completed on the claims during the 1988 reporting year includes reconnaissance, access upgrade, clearing of lease boundaries, re-interpretation of soil geochemistry and drilling results, aerial geophysical data computer manipulation and interpretation and regional mapping. The anomalies identified by the geochemical soil sampling conducted in 1988 are very significant in terms of local background levels (as determined by the regional geochemical sampling conducted by Northern Gold). As a result, it will be necessary to further define the anomalous areas by infill soil sampling to close the line spacing to below 100 metres and sample spacing to below 10 metres. Detailed structural and geological mapping will be required to interpret the anomalies and drilling results. As suggested in the 1988 annual report, firther drilling needs to be done to further define mineralization already intersected. This drilling will be conducted as part of a larger program of drilling to be done in 1990. |
