Abstract: | MLNs 414 to 418 (Quest 155) were acquired by W.R. Grace (Australia) Limited by exercising an option to purchase in 1987. Western Mining Corporation act as managers and operators of the properties as they fall within the Mount Ringwood Joint Venture. Exploration activities were confined to the drilling of two diamond drill holes for 177.0m NQ core which were designed to test the Quest 155 North fault zone and internal sulphidic veining within the concealed Quest 155 differentiated gabbro. The holes successfully intersected the targets but only low tenor gold intersections were gained. These results do not add substantially to the Quest 155 resource previously reported. |
