Title: Year 1 Annual report 8 July 2011 to 7 July 2012 Limestone Creek EL 28395
Title Holder / Company: Natural Resources Exploration
Report id: CR2012-0553
Tenure: EL28395
Year: 2012
Author: Munro, N
Abstract: NRE conducted an extensive review of all previous exploration across the tenement and also conducted a reconnaissance helicopter assisted field trip, geological mapping and sampling (rock sampling) across the tenure. No significant results were obtained for the primary targeted commodities of phosphate and potash however NRE did obtain significant results in relation to base metal mineralisation. In particular, manganese was identified as being a possible mineralisation within the tenement. NRE will determine the extent of any possible base mineralisation and evaluate same in a geological context during the second term. Results for a preliminary sampling program carried out by NRE also confirmed manganese levels in excess of 40 percent, from Tomahawk Formation outcrop area.
