Abstract: RAB Drilling completed during the current reporting period focused on both the broad Sn in soil anomalism and the large magnetic feature. Eight traverses were completed with 220 RAB drill holes drilled for a total of 2099m. Cuttings from the RAB drilling were routinely panned off to determine the presence of cassiterite. In all, 715 single metre and composite drill cutting samples were sent to Genalysis for analysis using sodium peroxide fusion to ensure maximum extraction of Sn. Results were generally low with the best intercept of: BURB008 8-12m EOH 4m @ 99ppm Sn. The elevated Sn intercept corresponds with a magnetic high feature and is interpreted to be on the contact between two granitoid types. Elsewhere with the broad spaced RAB drilling, the Sn response appears to reflect the background Sn values for a particular granite phase associated with the Winnecke Granophyre. The conclusion for the source of the cassiterite surface anomalism is interpreted as concentration at surface by deflation associated with weathering and geomorphology proximal to a regional drainage divide of accessory cassiterite grains in elevated Sn bearing granitoid.
