Reduction report Year 7 Non Compulsory EL 25397 for period ending 5 February 2014 Sandy Creek Calvert River Project

Abstract

No fieldwork was carried out during the last reporting period. During Year 2 of tenure Carpentaria Minerals Pty Ltd flew a hyperspectral remote sensing survey which covers the relinquished ground at the Calvert River tenement. The main purpose of the flight was to differentiate the numerous 20-100m diametre circular geological pipe features in the area and to map Gold Creek Volcanic stratigraphy. In 2008 a total of 12 stream sediment samples were taken on the relinquished ground during a broad scale sampling program to look for base metal pipe features. The results of this survey were successful in determining a number of features in retained areas and are discussed in the 2008 annual report.
