Report on exploration at MLN 13 Kohinoor Prospect, May to December 1986

Abstract

Three diamond drillholes and nineteen percussion drillholes were completed at the Kohinoor Prospect between May and December 1986. Detailed stratigraphic and structural logging of present drillholes, old drill holes and underground exposures have shown that the area is geological complex, with major faulting and shearing obscuring the stratigraphic sequence. Three mineralisation styles have been recognised. Mineralisation associated with Jensens Fault returned a major intersection and is now high priority, high grade-moderate tonnage target. Outlines for further exploration are suggested.
