Abstract: | Four diamond drillholes of 233.6 metres and twelve percussion drillholes of 516 metres were completed at Monarch prospect. Drilling has established the structural and stratigraphic setting of the mineralisation, however the controls on mineralisation are not clearly understood. The ore reserves have been revised with considerable previously defined ore reserves removed from reserve status. Current reserves are: In pit Proven Ore 41,700 tonnes at 1.93 grams per tonne Au. Out of pit proven laterite Ore 34,160 tonnes at 1.64 grams per tonne Au. Drilling is recommended to test the along strike potential of the Monarch mineralisation. |
