Abstract: | Exploration by National Gold comprised the collection of 12 rock chip and dump samples. The highest value was obtained from what appears to be a possible fault gouge on the north wall of the elongate shallow pit sample GN4, 1.03 grams per tonne Au. All other samples were less than 0.46 grams per tonne Au. It is probable that the gold mined in past times was localised in a small shear zone now represented by the easterly trending elongate pit. The shear zone appears to be vertical. |
