Abstract: | Reviews continued of the economic potential of mineral resources indicated by previous exploration carried out by the BMR and TEP during the 1960's and CRAE in the 1970's. A full assessment was undertaken of all previous work on the Area 55 leases. Further soil sampling to close off a radiometric anomaly coincident with the base metal mineralisation, in the southern portion of the leases, was judged to be unwarranted. None of the indicated mineral resources of the leases areas have been upgraded to potentially exploitable status. |
