Abstract: CRA Exploration (CRAE), under option agreement with C, Renfrey, carried out gold exploration on the Enterprise and Estralita Prospects, GMLs 862 and 863. For the purposes of efficient exploration and reporting the prospects were regarded as amalgamated. CRAE undertook a detailed grid and level survey with photogrammetric mapping at 1:1000 to establish a base for detailed geological mapping and geophysical surveys. These surveys entailed geological mapping at 1:1000 scale; detailed ground magnetics at 5m station spacing and 50 m line spacing; and a detailed gravity survey on 25m centres at l00m line spacing closed up to 25m over areas of interest. On the basis of this work areas of anomalous magnetics and density have been delineated preparatory to drilling for ironstone-hosted gold. Magnetic and gravity anomalies occur down-dip and down-plunge from known gold bearing ironstone outcrops. The delineated magnetic and gravity anomalies correspond to concentrations of sub-surface ironstone down-dip and down-plunge from quartz-hematite outcrops. As such they represent primary drill targets for ironstone-hosted gold deposits of the Tennant Creek style.
