Abstract: | No work in the field was undertaken in 1982. Fraser 1982, undertook a review of the exploration potential of the leases. He concluded that a possible resource of 8 million tonnes at a grade of 1.9 percent Cu could occur to medium depths between Browns and Intermediate. The low potential in the supergene zone-and narrow widths of primary mineralisation preclude extraction by open pit mining. Solution mining was suggested as a possible extractive technique. |
