Title: EL 25591 Mineral exploration annual and final surrender report, 13 July 2007 to 12 July 2013
Title Holder / Company: Sandfire Resources

Abstract: No field activities were conducted on EL 25591 during the reporting period. However several reviews were undertaken of published Geoscience Australia geological mapping and publicly available NT Geological Survey surface geochemical datasets and airborne geophysical surveys over the south-west region of the Borroloola Project. Contouring of the stream sediment geochemistry data and re-processing of the geophysical surveys was carried out. The stream sediment geochemistry data revealed low order values for the base metals over all but the north-eastern sub-block of EL 25591 which has elevated Cu, Pb and Zn values above 75ppm, 26ppm and 50ppm respectively. Re-processing of the airborne magnetics geophysics surveys showed trends which reflect the underlying geology. Due to lesser geological prospectivity of the stratigraphic units relative to elsewhere within the Borroloola Project, EL 25591 was recommended for final surrender at the end of its six years tenure.
