Abstract: This report covers work done on that portion of the licence relinquished at the end of the second year as per the requirements of the Mineral Titles Act. The area is considered to be prospective for base metals, precious metals and industrial minerals. Work conducted in the first year consisted of a comprehensive literature survey of the whole of the areas that form the Plenty Rivers Project. Work conducted in the second licence year consisted of preliminary field exploration examining the largely granitic terrain located within the licence area. Initial exploration indicated underlying sediments of the Grants Bluff Formation and granites of the Mount Swan Granite overlain by skeletal soils. This area has been chosen to be relinquished due to its observed lack of structural features when compared to the eastern end of the licence.
